We started Richardson & Co. because we got tired of watching corners get cut on jobs we were working. One coat where the quote said two. Coating rolled straight over a roof nobody had bothered to wash. It always shows up eventually, and it's always the homeowner who pays for it twice.
So this one is small on purpose, and it does two things instead of ten. We'd rather run fewer jobs and stand behind all of them than run six at once and hope. If that means you wait an extra week to get on the schedule, we think that's a fair trade, and most people do too once they've seen the finish.
We answer our own phone. If something goes wrong a year from now, you're calling the same number and getting the same people.
Standards
The things we won't move on
- Two finish coats. A single coat is a color change, not a paint job.
- Everything masked and covered, including the plants and the driveway.
- Prep and film thickness to the manufacturer's spec, not to whatever fits the schedule.
- Broom clean every evening. You get your house back each night.
- No change to the price without asking you first, in writing.
- The punch list closes before the invoice goes out.
- A no, when it's a trade we're not licensed and set up to do properly.
